I should be doing Spanish homework…

but I just want to blog.

I want to write about love and frustrations and my day to day life, but I can’t seem to put my thoughts into words. I’m thinking too abstractly to get most of it out. I don’t even know what the concrete ideas are. In my mind I know clearly what I’m thinking and how I feel about it, but to articulate these sentiments is beyond my power.
This might be a little rough, but here it goes:
1. I’m frustrated because I lost my lunch bag. It’s somewhere at Rocky but I don’t know. This causes number 2.
2. I’m frustrated because I don’t have food to eat right now. I always pack breakfast, snacks and lunch with me to school and work. This causes number 3.
3. I’m crabby because I’m hungry and I know I won’t get to eat until I go to work at 12:30. That sucks. So I’m going to be perpetually pissed off until then. Sorry Spanish class, don’t expect me to be in a good mood.
4. I understand not liking Valentines Day if you’re single, but I didn’t even like it that much having a significant other. It was just kinda another day. I express my love everyday, not just one day a year. Things don’t need to be specially concocted for this one day. We had a pretty normal even in fact. Watched a bad movie and ate pizza. It was heart shaped pizza though, so that is special. I didn’t even eat much chocolate.
5. I feel like I’m slacking in college right now. I need to get back on top of homework. I’m tired of being behind. I feel like I’m wanted in too many places at once to actually sit down alone and do homework.
6. Even though some of the above items suck, I’m still happy. I’m happy because I’m loved, I love and I know that love is reciprocated. I believe in God and knows he loves me and will take care of me.
That’s enough for now.

My online class and other news

So I'm taking an online class this semester, and it is the best class decision this semester. It's so easy. I practically did all the work for the class this evening in about an hour, maybe an hour and a half. And that included some extra credit.
In other news, I've finally got my school/homework/work schedule figured out to point where I don't stress about it.
And, I'm getting my passport tomorrow. :) Jon keeps telling me I need to do it, so I'm going to. He won't tell me why exactly, but I guess that's the exciting part.
And and, yesterday was our 8 month anniversary. hehe. We've been together for two thirds of a year.

My faith

My faith is growing every single day.
Everyday something happens that makes me take a step back and think, wow, God really is great.
I have many things to be thankful for.
I'm really blessed to see God working in my life and the lives of those around me.
I can't wait to get up and find out what God has in store for me for the day.

This was just what was on my mind today.

A lot of cool things have happened recently

I'm really pleased with the way life is going right now.

• I just got a new car. =D It's a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am.
• I've been reassured about my courses for this semester. I had been second guessing a couple of them, but now I'm sure I'll do well and they all seem fun/interesting.
• I got so much stuff for Christmas, that I'm still trying to unpack it all. Lots of things for the kitchen. :)
• I've been spending more quality time with Jonathan, even if we aren't going our anywhere. It's nice to just stay in and have an evening together.
• I've been seeing God work in my life more and more, it's pretty amazing actually.

There are other things I know I'm forgetting, but that is a glimpse of why I like life right now.

I slammed my finger in a door this morning :( It still hurts. Boo!
So, I'm waiting for Kade to text me back about going to lunch. He better text me back. I'm hungry and Great Harvest sounds really yummy.

Hmmm, I should probably start working, especially since I'm getting extra hours today.

Real quick

I'm gonna write a quick post here before I have to go to work.
I'm really excited for this year. I know some great things are going to happen. I'm looking forward to everything. I can't wait for the holidays and birthdays to roll around.  Speaking of which, happy birthday April! I know you are one of my few followers, so I had to make a shout out. hehe
Anyways, yes,  I am excited. College is going well and I anticipate it to continue to go well. Fall semester might be tough because I'm taking science and math. Blarg. Sounds like a lot of homework. But I expect my com class and spanish class to easy.
I suppose I should get through spring semester first.
I'm taking:
Principals of Macroeconomics
Intermediate Spanish 2
Introduction to Wellness Concepts
Public Speaking
General Psychology
and Critical Reading.
Only 16 credits. haha

Day 2

Today consisted of pretty much my favorites things,
Lots of sleeping today. he he. I liked it though.
Food! yummy food too. Grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken enchiladas, cookies, and cheesecake.
Baking. I baked said cookies. My famous almond oatmeal cookies
Jonathan. Spent some lovely time with him.
Fellowship. Great time with great people and great subject matter. :)

Very fulfilling day.
I'm happy.
